Features on a Range of Applications of Cognitive Analytic Therapy

A great many ACAT members and other colleagues have contributed to updated articles on the range of applications of CAT with different client groups.  We're very grateful to all those who have given their time and shared their passion for using CAT in their clinical areas.

We currently have eleven options in the Applications of CAT - Client Groups and Specialisms section, with the possibility of more on the way.  The latest addition is a feature on CAT in Neurorehabilitation: a relational approach offered by members Jak Smith and Ronan Burke, alongside colleagues Abigail Methley and Christine Cobley.

Other features already available include CAT with children and young people, people with learning disabilities, those attracting a diagnosis of 'personality disorder', people with multiple and complex needs, forensic services, couples work, eating disorders/distress, adaptations of the model for NHS Talking Therapies services, and for self harm, and using CAT in physical health.

If you would like to request, or write, a feature on applying CAT in another clinical area, then please do get in touch.
