ACAT is a small but growing charity with many opportunities for Members and external applicants to get involved in different roles, some voluntary and some paid.

We are looking for a new Chair of the Training Committee to work on behalf of ACAT to help coordinate and organise this vital function of the charity by drawing on the vast experience of the committee members, while holding the frame, following up on actions agreed and working alongside the board to develop the future strategy.

The role of Clinical Chair is pivotal to ACAT’s mission ‘to educate health professionals and to promote proper standards and good practice in cognitive analytic therapy’.

 

We are looking for a new Chair of the Ethics Committee to work on behalf of ACAT to help coordinate and organise this vital function of the charity by drawing on the vast experience of the committee members, while holding the frame, following up on actions agreed and working alongside the board to develop the future strategy.

This vital role on the ACAT training committee (TC) ensures that trainees have a voice and influence all aspects of training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT).

The TC is responsible for developing the national strategy for CAT training and ensuring standards across all training programmes. The committee meets 3 times a year, twice online and once in person in London. You can read more about the work and role of TC here.

Location

Home based with the ability to work one day per month from the ACAT office in Dorchester, Dorset, and attend ad hoc meetings and events in person within the UK from time to time.

Contract

Permanent part-time, flexible 14 hours per week subject to successful
completion of a 6 month probationary period.

Salary

£25,782

The role

We are seeking a leader with a hands on approach to lead our small team of
administrative staff and support our Board of Trustees and members to help shape and implement our strategy for the future. You will manage the day to day operations of the organisation translating the strategy into practice to help the organisation grow and deliver real value to our members.

About you

We are looking for someone who is an experienced leader with a knowledge of and understanding of CAT who is:
A strategic thinker.
Able to set, manage, and report on budgets.
An excellent communicator with a proven track record of implementing change.
