Nominations to the Board of Trustees
The maximum number of trustees at any one time is twelve. Currently, up to two of these twelve trustees can be lay members.
At each AGM, at least one third of trustees stand down. This is a requirement of ACAT's Memorandum and Articles of Association. Trustees standing down have the option to stand for re-election if they wish.
Who can nominate a trustee to the Board?
Voting members of ACAT (see below) can make nominations to the Board. Nominees can be full ACAT members or lay people.
Fully paid-up practitioner, psychotherapist, and life members of ACAT are eligible to nominate a trustee and vote at the AGM.

AGM Booklet of Papers
The AGM Booklet of Papers, containing the agenda, annual reports, and annual accounts, will be available nearer to the time.
Voting by Proxy
If you are a full voting member who cannot attend the AGM but wish to vote on the reports and accounts, you can appoint a proxy.
